In 2022, some of our most popular shapes were definitely Ovals. Oval cut diamonds have been trending for the past couple of years and they've definitely stayed strong this past year.
Another shape that has really given the Oval a run for its money is going to be Elongated Cushion Cuts. I think many people saw tons of Ovals over the past years, still wanted that really rounded elongated silhouette but wanted something a little different.
Another really popular shape we saw was the Old European cut (this is the antique round brilliant cut). One thing people love about the shape is that each one is unique and has those chunky, charming facets, but it has a timeless silhouette.
Some of the biggest fine jewelry trends over the past year were definitely wedding bands. This was the year of the weddings and that came along with big diamond eternity bands. Our most popular wedding bands were classic looks with a bit of a unique twist like the Penelope Band, Defined Oval Band, and the Emma Band.
Other popular styles were our tennis bracelets and tennis necklaces! New to the collection is our Chelsea Chain Tennis Bracelet. This style features a curb chain mixed with a tennis bracelet, the perfect twist on a best-selling style.
In terms of earrings, hoops were definitely number one. Our Thick Gold Hoops, Inside Out Diamond Hoops, and our Super Skinny Pave Hoops.

]]>Kyla and Michael met at Purdue University, where they both went to college. A mutual friend set them up and they hit it off the second that they met! They first met at a coffee shop on their college campus and sat there for hours...Kyla said, “I don't think either of us stopped talking long enough to even sip our drinks!” They have been together for over 5 years since and have shared so many incredible memories! They love to snowboard so they take a trip out west every year to hit the slopes. They also took an amazing trip to Singapore and Hong Kong together!
Michael proposed on an overlook at Zilker Park in Austin, TX. He told Kyla they were going for a fun weekend trip together, but had been planning to propose on this trip for 4 months. He had all of their out of town friends and family fly in for a whole weekend of celebration.
Kyla said, “It was such a surprise! Especially since Michael did the proposal privately, then had our families walk out, and the final surprise was showing up to dinner with all our friends there. The reaction to the ring was ‘is this real?’ and then ‘wow this is my dream ring!’” They are hoping for a wedding in the Spring or Fall of 2023 in Dallas, TX. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
