Clear Cut Couples: Danielle and Jim

One Saturday night in January of 2016 Danielle walked into a cocktail bar in the east village called the Wayland. Jim was out that night as well with friends and they ended up at the same bar. The two of them met in line for the bathroom when Jim, being the gentleman that he is, allowed Danielle to cut him in line. They reconnected at the bar later that night and the rest is history. Since then they’ve been together for over 3.5 years!

Jim proposed to Danielle in May of 2019. Danielle headed home from work on a Friday night and was under the impression that she and Jim would be babysitting her nephew, Sam. Little did she know this was just a rouse to throw her off. Turns out, Jim spent the entire afternoon cooking Danielle’s favorite meal, decorating the apartment and anxiously awaiting Danielle’s arrival. She walked in to candles and flowers and the smell of a home cooked meal. Jim proposed right away and after dinner, their families came over for a toast. Together with their families, they headed to a nearby bar where their friends were waiting to celebrate. It was a very special night.

Danielle was totally surprised. She knew Jim had spoken to Olivia, but had no idea when the proposal was coming. The Clear Cut team did an incredible job creating the vintage art deco inspired ring and Danielle and Jim are very thrilled with the finished product!!

They are still finalizing their plans, but they found a beautiful venue in the Catskills and look forward to celebrating with their family and friends in the summer of 2020! Congrats Danielle and Jim!!
