Clear Cut Couples: Maria and Trevor

Maria and Trevor met through Maria’s best friend from college! She was determined to find someone for Maria for years, and when she met Trevor at work, she told him he had to take Maria out when they were at happy hour one day. Out of all the people she tried to set Maria up with, he was the only one that Maria agreed to a date with. 

They went and got craft cocktails at Swine Bar in San Diego in January 2024. They talked all about travel, family and where they wanted to live around the world and the rest is history! They have been together for 2 years since and have shared countless incredible memories! 

Trevor said, “I fell in love with Maria at a tiny hot springs resort outside of San Diego (Jacumba Hot Springs) during a really stressful time at work. It felt like an enchanted weekend.”

He proposed on their favorite private beach at sunset just after getting a new puppy the day before. It was a complete surprise to Maria and they ate Italian subs and drank wine under some blankets. It was just barely raining which was perfect because they were the only ones on the beach. Maria has always wanted something lowkey and private, and just very “them”.

The proposal was perfect and a complete surprise. The reaction to the ring was and still is awe. Trevor said, “The ring is incredible, and better than she ever could have hoped.”

As for their wedding, they think they will get married at a small, intimate resort in Todos Santos Mexico. Something nontraditional with surfing nearby for Trevor. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
