Clear Cut Couples: Thais and Tito

Thais and Tito met May 30th, 2020 through mutual friends during the pandemic. Tito’s group of friends invited Thais’ group of friends to have a get together. Their first date was August 1st, 2020. He picked her up wearing red jeans (which they can laugh about now). 

They tried walking into a restaurant and got denied. For the next one that they went to, Tito made sure that Thais stayed in the car so he could pay the hostess for a table! Worked like a charm. 

They have been officially together since August 25th, 2020. Not even a month after their first date, Tito asked Thais to be his girlfriend in his car in front of her house.

They have shared countless incredible memories since then! They have been to the Dominican Republic and Brazil every year to see their families. They have also shared so many fun anniversary trips every year! They now have two beautiful babies. Leo, their oldest is almost 3 years old and their youngest, Savannah, is 4 months old.

Tito proposed at the Edge during a very cold and windy night. He handed her a box saying it was a gift, but that she couldn’t look at him while opening it. She was facing the city, and he was behind her. When she opened the box, there was a note saying “turn around.” So, when she turned around, he was already on one knee. Afterwards, they had the most romantic dinner at Peak with Priceless. 

Thais was definitely expecting a proposal at some point, but didn’t want to get her hopes up because he had told her that someone else had bought the diamond she wanted… in reality he was the one who bought it! 

She was crying from the second she saw him on his knee. They want to elope and have a party at Tito’s beach house in the Dominican Republic to celebrate their love! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
