There have been so many celebrity rings across the years and some have influenced the trends we see today!! Here are the biggest trends:

1. Kim Kardashian West

Kim Kardashian West's ring features a stunning and super skinny band. She was the first celebrity to have a band like this and she inspired so many people! She has a large cushion cut on a thin micropave band that makes the stone look like it’s floating. Since her ring, bands have been getting thinner and thinner. Our super skinny solitaire setting has a tiny 1.5mm band and it is one of our most popular bands!

2. Blake Lively

Blake Lively's stunning oval diamond with a three sided pave band brought back the oval shape! At the time there was not a large demand for oval diamond shapes. Since then, ovals have been our most popular shape and so many other celebrities have followed in her steps. What I love most about oval diamonds is that it has a feminine and elongated shape. It complements all finger sizes and takes a lot of space up on your finger (making the stone look bigger)!! Her three sided pave band features a hidden halo which is also a trend that is here to stay! Haley Bieber has a hidden halo on a plain band too and that is super popular right now!!

3. Megan Markle

Megan Markle's three stone ring has been a huge driver for three stone rings. Ever since she got engaged, three stone rings, especially with a gold band, have been one of our best sellers! Her center stone is a round 2.5 carat cushion cut diamond flanked by two .5 carat round stones. We have been seeing tons of this three stone design with a modern twist of mixing metals: platinum on the stones and yellow gold for the band.

4. Emily Ratajkowski

Emily Ratajkowski's toi et moi ring has been a real trendsetter! She has a lopsided pear alongside a princess cut stone, smushed together. We have been getting many requests for similar rings, all thanks to her! People are emulating her ring with two stones, negative space, colored stones and more! Overall this has been one of the biggest trends of 2019 and I hope it’s here to stay -- I love it!
