Clear Cut Couples: Allie and Nathan

Allie and Nathan (Nate) went to rival high schools growing up, but they didn't officially meet until New Year's Eve of 2014 through a mutual friend - and they say that it was not love at first sight. LOL! Luckily, they stayed in touch and ended up going on their first date a few months later.

Their first date was at a small crepe shop in their hometown. They went to different schools for college so their following dates were small visits to each other's colleges between Maryland and North Carolina.

Since then, they have been together for over 10 years and have shared so many incredible memories. Some of their highlights are: moving halfway across the country (from Annapolis, Maryland to Dallas), visiting the family beach house in North Myrtle Beach, getting their two Australian Shepherds, Tilly and Tater, and spending time with family in Annapolis.

Nate proposed in March in downtown Annapolis on the water overlooking the Severn River, their favorite place to be when they are home. Nate then had their family and friends surprise them for the perfect day celebrating the engagement.

The engagement wasn't as much of a surprise as the ring was. Allie was speechless - even though she gave Nate detailed instructions on what she wanted, the final product blew her away!

They will be getting married at a venue on the water in Maryland with their close family and friends in September 2022. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
