Clear Cut Couples: Ashley and Ryan

Ashley and Ryan met at a Halloween party in 2021. Ryan said, “I was pretty much hooked the moment I saw her.” They shared their first kiss that night and before the party was over, Ryan asked her out on a date. 

When Ryan arrived, Ashley still wasn’t ready yet (some things never change), so her roommate gave him a drink while he waited. They went to a movie in the park, but spent most of the night talking instead of watching the movie. Ryan had planned to cook dinner, but then discovered she was gluten-free and his entire plan was not, so they ended up grabbing food at a restaurant across the street from his place. They talked for hours, neither of them wanted the night to end, and the rest is history.

What started as a fun night turned into the best relationship either of them could have imagined and now, they’re lucky enough to be planning their wedding! They have been together for 4.5 years.

They have shared countless incredible memories. They love to travel, they love animals and share a little dog. They are both foodies and love good coffee (so much so, that they are opening a coffee shop together this fall)!

Ryan proposed very subtly, sitting next to each other at the Capitol building in Salt Lake City. No knee, just words and love! While the proposal was not a surprise, Ashley LOVES the ring! They will be getting married in Southern California in November 2027. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
