Clear Cut Couples: Caroline and Jon

Jon and Caroline met through mutual friends! They had their first date at Sel Rose for drinks and then had tapas dinner at Cata. They didn't really know one another beforehand, so it was a lot of initial getting to know one another. But one thing was clear -- that date was the start of something special. One thing led to another and since then, they have been together for over 4 years!!


They have been dating NY to London long distance for 3.5 years. They say it’s been hard, but it has given them a great excuse to travel. Together, they have visited 12 countries together including the Maldives, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Egypt and more! They have shared such special memories traveling together and cannot wait for a lifetime more (AWW)!

On a Saturday, Jon told Caroline that they were meeting his sisters for pre-dinner drinks at City Vineyard. To her surprise, he got down on one knee while they were on the pier by the water! It was absolutely perfect! They then had dinner with their families and celebrated with their loved ones.

In choosing her ring, Caroline focused on finding the perfect stone… and she finally found it with Olivia! Since Caroline was involved with the ring selection process, it is everything she wanted (and even more)!

They are getting married in September, 2021 in Caroline’s hometown: Lexington KY. It will be a big wedding at the country club that Caroline grew up going to. There will be about 300 people, black tie, timeless, tons of florals, and a great band! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you and cannot wait to hear about the wedding!!
