Clear Cut Couples: Charles and Amanda

Amanda and Charles (Chuck) caught each other's attention at a mutual friend's celebration of life. Although, from a distance it was a moment they will never forget and as cliche as it sounds, they always say it was love at first sight. They formally met while Amanda was on a trip down to San Diego at a friend's birthday party where they talked to each other all night. Eventually, Amanda moved to San Diego and the rest is history. Since then, they have been together for 7 years!

Some highlights of their relationship include their annual ski trips every year, Costa Rica, and most recently Maui to celebrate their engagement with close friends.

On 11/22 Chuck proposed at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego during their holiday pictures to be sure to include their fur baby "Ollie". As soon as Chuck started telling Amanda how much he loved her and why he wanted to spend the rest of their lives together… Amanda said, “I was already in tears before he even got down on one knee.”

Amanda knew a proposal was coming, but had no idea when! She said, “I was so surprised when I saw the exact diamond I had sent him from The Clear Cut. I instantly knew and it's seriously the ring of my dreams!”

They have no set wedding plans as of yet, but are thinking of a destination wedding in 2022. Congrats you two!
