Clear Cut Couples: Cora and Drew
Drew and Cora are originally from the same town in Pennsylvania, but did not meet until they both happened to be living in Hoboken, NJ at the same time. They quickly realized they had everything in common and the rest is history! They had their first date at the Brass Rail in Hoboken, NJ. Since then, they have been together for over 4 years!
They have shared so many incredible memories over the years. They love to travel together and look forward to traveling more after a year plus at home! Together, they have been to St. Martin & Anguilla (2017), Italy (2018), Ireland (2019) and Napa Valley (2019). They also love food of all kinds! One of their favorite things to do together is to try new restaurants. During the pandemic, they have been doing a lot of cooking at home!
Drew proposed on February 20th at the Battello in Jersey City overlooking the New York City Skyline. Drew hired a photographer to capture the whole thing! The day of the proposal Drew told Cora he had made dinner plans at a surprise location. When they arrived at the restaurant, "the table wasn't ready yet" despite the restaurant being empty. The hostess encouraged them to go outside and enjoy the view of NYC. She also insisted on taking Cora's coat! It was FREEZING in the middle of February, so Cora immediately caught onto what was happening. Once outside Drew kept trying to place Cora in a specific location. Little did she know Drew had meticulously planned out every little detail of the proposal. He met with both the restaurant and photographer beforehand so he could capture the moment perfectly. He even had the exact location marked for the perfect photo. Soon enough Drew was down on one knee asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. The two enjoyed a celebratory dinner at the Battello afterwards before calling friends and family to share the news!
Cora said, “I knew it was coming but didn't know when or how. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE RING! I still can't keep my eyes off of it! Drew and the Clear Cut did a fantastic job!” They cannot wait to get married and set a date for 2022 at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ.
