Clear Cut Couples: Daniel and Kayla

Daniel and Kayla met in college during sophomore year on a fraternity/sorority trip to the mountains! What started as a friendship blossomed into something more throughout the years. They became best friends and after school the relationship became official!

Their first official date was at Alexander's On 30th in San Diego. A cute little Italian place with a romantic patio to dine on. What’s funny is that this was the last date they would have for a few months as Kayla went to study abroad shortly after!

They have shared so many incredible memories since then! They love to snowboard so a highlight would be their trip to Park City last winter which was absolutely beautiful. They also had a memorable birthday trip that Kayla planned in Joshua Tree which was amazing. Daniel said, “I can’t forget our first official trip together to San Francisco, and we still look back at the pictures of how tiny and young we look and what we’ve turned into!”

Daniel proposed on 6/10/22 in Kauai, Hawaii! They went down to Baby Beach on the south shore to “watch the sunset”, when the question was popped in shock to Kayla.

It was definitely a surprise! Daniel had given away a few smaller ‘hints’ on accident, but she was definitely not expecting it to be there at that given time. She is in LOVE with the ring and it’s everything she could have ever wanted. Daniel said, “I can’t thank Clear Cut enough for how great this process was.” As for their wedding, they plan on having a long engagement due to their schooling, and they are excited to plan! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
