Clear Cut Couples: Faith and Jack

Faith and her fellow nurse friends were at the Atlanta Braves stadium bar for the home opening baseball game on April 1st, 2019. That same day, Jack and his hockey teammates were invited to the stadium for an interview, but decided to stop at the bar for a few drinks. Faith and her 3 friends were finishing dinner inside the bar when a guy approached the table and asked if the four of them would like to have a drink with him and his 3 buddies. Long story short, Jack was one of those friends. Faith and Jack spent the night on the dance floor and riding a mechanical bull.

Faith was working the night shift as a nurse at the time. She called in "sick" to work on a Monday so that she could see Jack again. That night, they went to the Cheesecake Factory. That would become the first of many cheesecakes they'd share.

They like to say that they have been together since the day that they met, because it was really love at first sight. They spent the first year and 3 months in a long distance relationship. They tried not to go longer than 2 weeks at a time without seeing each other. Faith's best memories are watching Jack play hockey with his family. Jack's best memory is when Faith met his family for the first time. In July 2020, Faith moved to Michigan and they ended their long distance relationship. Since then, they have moved into their first home, found their puppy (Lenny), and are finally engaged!

For the proposal, Jack had an entire day of surprises for Faith. They had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory (where they had their first date). Jack ended the day by proposing to Faith during sunset on the lake. The final surprise was a beautiful party with their friends and family, many of whom traveled from out of town to celebrate with them.

The ring is perfectly simple and elegant yet mesmerizing. Jack created an absolutely striking radiant diamond with hidden halo and two tone setting. It is more perfect than what Faith could have imagined her engagement ring to look like. They will be married in Michigan September 2023. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
