Clear Cut Couples: Jacob and Samantha

Jacob and Samantha were introduced by their good friends. They had only ever talked over the phone until one night when Sam lost her phone on a night out, leading to them to meet for the first time. Jacob bought her a drink and the rest is history.

Their first date was in DT Long Beach, California. They had a great conversation, delicious food and ended the night with a funnel cake overlooking the colorful Lion’s Lighthouse at Rainbow Harbor. They have been together for over 8 years now!

Some of their most special moments have been exploring and being in nature together. Yosemite’s Half Dome and Fire Fall, Havasupai‘s gorgeous teal waterfalls, Olympic National Park’s breathtaking Rainforests to Cuba and Puerto Rico’s White Sand Beaches and Jungles have been some of their most memorable moments.

Jacob proposed in a beautiful farm house amongst rolling hills and Vineyards in Calistoga, CA. He surprised her (and her family was there too!) with flowers and champagne on Christmas Eve.

Sam was so overwhelmed with joy she broke out in tears and almost forgot to swallow the cracker she was chewing on and could barely get out her answer!! 

As for their wedding, they would love to get married in 2021 however with the uncertainty of COVID-19 and what is sure to be limited wedding venues, they will push the wedding to Nov/Dec 2022! As for now, they’re thinking Puerto Rico!
