Clear Cut Couples: Julie and Richard

Julie and Richard worked at the same large organization and met at an event! Because they had been working together, they don’t remember what counted as their “first date” but they were slowly becoming friends first prior to officially dating. They have been together for 5 years since then and have shared so many incredible memories over the years. They moved from Australia to New York together and their most cherished memory has been building their lives together in a different city. Julie moved over first, and after 7 months of long distance, Richard moved to America. They have also traveled together to many countries such as China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, France, Ireland, England, Bahamas, Antigua, and of course around the USA and Australia.

Richard proposed in the Bahamas March 2021. He organized it with the hotel! They were led to a private beach side cabana where when the doors opened, there was written in candles "Will you marry me?" It was by the beach with a table on the sand for them to have a private dinner as well.

The proposal was a surprise and exceeded Julie's expectation although she already had a feeling that it was coming! The ring that they designed together with the help of Olivia “was perfect and exactly what I wanted!”

As for their wedding, they are not sure yet, but they have families from Asia to Australia to the USA, so they will find a middle ground when everyone can travel again to host a wedding! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
