Clear Cut Couples: Kaitlyn and Paul

Kaitlyn and Paul first met in 2018 through mutual friends in NYC. After the pandemic, they reconnected in 2021, however it was weeks before Paul decided to move to California. After multiple facetimes and cross country flights, they were officially in a long distance relationship!

Their first date was at Malatesta Trattoria in the West Village. And the rest was history… they have been together for 3 years!

They have so many special memories together and the highlights include incredible trips. Whenever Paul flew to California to visit Kaitlyn, they would plan small weekend getaways. Early on in their relationship they were able to travel to San Diego, Santa Barbara, Joshua Tree National Park and Sedona. They truly made the best memories together with the little time that they did have together while doing long distance.

Paul proposed in Laguna Beach in February 2025. They decided a few months prior to escape the NYC Winter and take a trip to California to getaway and visit some friends. On their second night in Laguna Beach, Paul told Kaitlyn that he made a reservation for them to grab some drinks before their dinner reservation. While walking to the reservation, he proposed by a beautiful viewpoint that overlooked the ocean during sunset. She soon found out that there was no actual reservation!

Although Kaitlyn said she saw it coming, she was very surprised. The ring is everything she wanted it to be. She cannot stop staring at it!

No wedding plans yet! They are soaking in the excitement of being engaged, but hope to get married in Fall of 2026. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
