Clear Cut Couples: Kaleigh and Mosisa

Kaleigh and Mosisa met in Austin, Texas through mutual friends! For their first date, they went to dinner at Lichas Cantina which is located on East 6th in Austin. It was a hot September day, but they sat outside in the courtyard and ordered a few margaritas and paloma cocktails to cool down. They shared ceviche as a starter which has now become a standard order for them whenever they go out to dinner.

And the rest is history… they have been together for 3.5 years since then! They have shared countless incredible memories since. Their first vacation together was a trip to Hawaii for 8 days. They split island time across O‘ahu and Maui and enjoyed hiking up Diamond Head Crater, driving along the Road to Hana, a helicopter tour of O‘ahu, and several great dinners (Mama's Fish House was the best).

Thanks to an American Airlines flight maintenance issue, they scored two additional nights for free and impulsively shopped and went on a booze cruise in Waikiki. They have traveled together to Mexico, Argentina, Cuba, Portugal, Italy, Morocco, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan!

Mosisa proposed in Koh Samui, Thailand on March 2nd, 2025. They chartered a private sailboat around the island while enjoying various hors d'oeuvres and beverages. As sunset approached, they traveled to the front of the boat and he got down on one knee. They celebrated with champagne and dinner to close the night.

Kaleigh was so surprised by the proposal. She loves the diamond and custom design of the ring! They’re planning a wedding in New Orleans some time in 2026. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
