Clear Cut Couples: Kelly and Teddy

Kelly and Teddy met on Hinge in the Spring of 2018! Kelly sent the first message and after a week of chatting, they exchanged numbers and Teddy asked Kelly out for a date! Their first date was at the Kimberly Hotel rooftop in New York City. It was a beautiful spring day to sit on a rooftop in the city. They ordered margaritas and fries to split. The conversation flowed so easily, with laughs mixed in, and a sense of comfort on the first date. It felt like they had known each other already. And the rest is history!

April 28th marks 6 years since they met for their first date! They have so many incredible memories over the years. Some highlights are: Beach weekends out East, too many trips to Charleston, SC to count, a trip to Portofino and then to Lake Como as they explored Italy. And so many other adventures in between. They are always looking for new experiences and travels together. No matter what they do or where they go together, they end up having so much fun.

Teddy proposed in April of 2024 in New York City’s Central Park. They picked up iced coffees at Ralph’s Coffee on the Upper East Side and went for a walk in Central Park. The cherry blossoms were blooming and they walked in the park enjoying a beautiful spring day. They stopped at a park bench where they have stopped in the past on walks to admire the park. Teddy proposed shortly after! And she said YES!

It was a surprise! She knew a proposal was coming, but Kelly was surprised at that very moment. Her reaction to the ring was pure excitement. The ring of her dreams. As for their wedding, they are beginning the planning process now! They planned to get married in 2025. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
