Clear Cut Couples: Meera and Akash

Meera and Akash met during high school! Akash’s neighbors were having a party and Meera was his neighbor's cousin. They met for the first time at that party.

Meera’s sister dropped them off on their first date since neither of them were old enough to drive. They watched a movie and had an onion ring tower at Red Robin.

They have been together for over 11 years since and have shared countless incredible memories! Some of their favorites were visiting each other at their universities: University of Iowa, Northern Illinois University, and The Ohio State University. They have had so much fun exploring new cities and making new memories which fueled their love for traveling together. They have been to Mackinac Island, Napa, Dubai, and Breckenridge. They can’t wait to continue making memories!

Akash proposed on December 27th, 2024 at Snake River Arm, near Breckenridge, CO. He picked a location with fresh snow, water, and mountains. He told Meera that they had dinner plans to get her to dress up and they went to a stunning view point where he got down on one knee!

It was a total surprise! Meera is obsessed with her ring from The Clear Cut. The emerald cut with a bezel setting was her dream ring, reactions included crying and laughter. Their wedding plans are TBD. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
