Clear Cut Couples: Matt and Megan

Matt and Megan both went to Providence College and graduated in 2014. They knew each other but didn't really talk until 3 years after they graduated when Megan moved to Boston. They saw each other and reconnected. Their official first date was at Lola 42 followed by drinks at the Barking Crab, both places are in Boston Seaport, where they live now, and still some of their favorite spots to go in the summer. The rest is history… since then they have been together for over three years!!

There are so many highlights over the past few years, but some of the most memorable moments are from their first summer together. They had the best time with their friends. That summer was also the first time Matt took her to his house in Long Beach Island NJ where she met his family, it was such a fun trip and they go back every summer. Their first year of dating they also started skiing again which has become one of their favorite things to do together. Their recent trip to London and Paris was their first time traveling internationally together and it was the most amazing trip!

Matt proposed in Aspen, Colorado on March 6th 2020. They had been planning a big ski trip for a while and when they decided on Aspen Matt thought it was the perfect time! Matt got help from Megan's sister to coordinate a photographer and Matt worked with the resort to find the perfect spot to propose. The photographer took the most perfect pictures that they will cherish forever (rachael_sabell_photography). Megan says, “We are so lucky to have these moments captured and be able to share them with our friends and family, especially since we have been in quarantine since we got back from the trip!”

The moment was a surprise, but the ring was not! They were able to meet with Olivia in person and look at diamonds and Matt made the final decision on the diamond and setting. Megan says, “It is my dream ring, better than I ever could have imagined!”

They are getting married at the Weekapaug Inn in Westerly, RI on September 25th 2021. They are so excited to celebrate with their family and friends! Congrats you two!!
