Clear Cut Couples: Melissa and Kevin

Melissa and Kevin met in high school! They went to senior prom together and that’s when the relationship blossomed. They are from the towns next to each other in the suburbs of Chicago. 

For their first date, Kevin had his private pilot license so he actually took Melissa out to lunch by FLYING them there in a small plane! They have been together for over 7 years since then and have shared so many incredible memories over the years.

They were in a long distance relationship throughout college and both pulled off surprising each other within a couple months of each other. They bought their first home together in Las Vegas after being long distance for years! They have also shared special memories traveling on weekends to Huntington Beach, CA.

Kevin proposed on Saturday, March 20th at sunset on the beach in Huntington Beach, CA. It was a total surprise for Melissa! She had no idea it was coming and was “very unsure how he pulled off such a smooth and memorable moment for us since we’ve been together so long!
