Clear Cut Couples: Mike and Kelly

Mike and Kelly met through mutual friends a week after Kelly moved to San Francisco. They realized that they had actually met at the same New Years Eve party the year before but didn't quite remember...

Shortly after meeting, their first "official" date was after work happy hour - Mike made reservations at this beautiful restaurant right on the water in downtown San Francisco. They had a few drinks and shared some oysters...not realizing this was the beginning of something really special.

They have been together for over 4 years since then! They love adventures - crossing new cities and restaurants off their bucket lists. Some of their favorite memories include music festivals, hiking, wine tasting in Napa and making pizza on Friday nights. They survived the pandemic in a one-bedroom apartment together so planning a wedding should be easy!! LOL!

Mike perfectly planned every detail of this magical proposal. They walked hand in hand on a secluded beach in Maui at sunset. He planted a message in a bottle that "washed up" on shore with a beautiful poem that she managed to get only a few lines through before tearing up. Before she knew it, he was down on one knee with a gorgeous ring in hand!

Mike had to ask "Will you marry me?" twice because her first reaction to the ring was speechless! They want to get married on the East Coast to be closer to their families. But details are still being finalized. For now, they are enjoying being engaged and practicing calling each other "fiance!” Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
