Clear Cut Couples: Morgan and Ryan

Morgan and Ryan met in college and became friends, but afterwards they went their separate ways back to Portland and Seattle. A few years passed and Morgan decided to move to Portland for a change of scenery. They reconnected and instantly felt that spark. Their first date was at a small pub not far from where Morgan was living at the time. They had a few drinks and dinner along with some laughter and reminiscing of their college days. The rest is history… they have been together for 4 years since.

They have shared countless memories over the years. One of the highlights of their relationship was their trip to Hawaii that they took last fall. It was full of relaxation, live music at little beach clubs, and great food. It was a time that they will remember forever. Instead of a lot of physical gifts for each other, they like to give “experiences” per se. From concerts and  monster truck rallies to cooking classes and couples massages, it’s those times that are the most memorable to them. But some of the best quality time spent together is cuddled up on the couch watching a favorite show.

Ryan proposed on October 19th on a trip to Italy. They had a day trip to the island of Capri from the Amalfi coast and had just finished seeing the Blue Grotto when they took a chair lift to the top of the island to see the amazing view. Once they reached the top, Ryan asked if she wanted to take a picture, and before they could turn to the camera, he got down on one knee and popped the question.

She was definitely surprised and she absolutely loved the ring! They will start planning the wedding soon! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
