Clear Cut Couples: Sam and Andy

Sam and Andy met at a bar called Lost Lake in Seattle. Sam was visiting from San Francisco with a friend from college who grew up in the same hometown as Andy. They met up with some of her childhood friends and Andy was part of the group! Andy was still living in Seattle, but was going to soon start grad school at University of San Francisco. He came to San Francisco to look for an apartment so they agreed to get drinks at a bar called Wreck Room. They drank beers and played Pop-A-Shot and the rest is history! They have been together for over five years since and have shared incredible memories. 

They've done three amazing trips to Europe, they're members of two wine clubs in Healdsburg where they love to go wine tasting, visiting breweries (they both enjoy a good IPA), picnics on sunny days in Golden Gate Park, they’re both addicted to coffee, and enjoy watching Jeopardy every night! Andy proposed on 11/1/2021 at the Conservatory of Flowers. Andy sent flowers to her work with a note to be home by 5:30pm. When she got home, there was a scavenger hunt around their apartment with the last clue noting to be ready by 6pm. The same friend who they met through, knocked on the door at 6pm and walked her to the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. Andy was waiting for her at the top of the stairs where he got down on one knee and proposed!

They talked about the proposal a lot, so Sam knew the proposal was coming but didn’t know when or how. But when she got the flowers at work, she knew it was happening that night! They are having a small ceremony at San Francisco City Hall on 7/8/2022 with only immediate family! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!!
