What kind of oval diamonds can you get for $10k? It's all about balancing the 4 C's - Cut, Clarity, Color, and Carat.

The first option is a 1.50 carat, F color, SI1 clarity oval diamond. This diamond prioritizes color, as F is in the colorless range (meaning this diamond will shine bright and white). Therefore, this option compromises a bit on the carat weight and clarity.

The second option is a 1.70 carat, J color, VS1 clarity diamond. This diamond is bigger than our first option and has a pretty good clarity quality. The compromise here is the color, which is at the low end of our recommended color range.

The last option is a 1.70 carat, G color, SI2 clarity diamond. It still prioritizes carat size, but this time the color quality is very high and the clarity is at the lowest end of the recommended clarity range. This means that although the diamond will look clean to the eye, there will be visible inclusions in the diamond under magnification.

Which of these three diamonds would you choose if you had a $10K budget?
