It's time to get engaged and you do not know where to start? Here are three things that you should do when getting your e-ring process started.

1. Try on as much as possible and do all your online research.

If you see a jewelry store go try something on, take photos, and see what you like! The more you know and the more you see, the easier it will be to eliminate things you do not want and start figuring out the things that you do like.

A good place to start is to hone in in the carat weight, shape and style.

2. Make sure you and your partner are on the same page.

Discuss a budget with your partner and what you want to prioritize. Some people spend way more than a three month salary and some people spend way less. It's good to get aligned on a top line budget! 

3. Find a trusted expert.

Make sure you know who you are working with. Are they graduate gemologist? Do they work with natural or lab diamonds? If they are working with natural diamonds, are they working with GIA certified diamonds?

You want to make sure you trust whoever you are working with.
