Clear Cut Couples: Alexa and Chris

Alexa and Chris officially met in college on the first day of school in on of their science classes. Alexa was a Junior in a pre-physician assistant studies program and Chris was a senior in a pre-med program. They had briefly met two years earlier on their way to a party and Alexa had her eye on him ever since. When she saw him in her class years later, she had a good feeling and thought, maybe the stars were aligning for them this time.

Chris had asked her out to go bowling on a Friday night. She was so excited because she had a huge crush on him. He took her to this really old and rundown bowling alley. They had the best time and laughed the entire night. This led to their second date where they stayed up until sunrise talking, and the rest was history! They have been together for 6 years! Chris proposed on the weekend of their 6 year anniversary! They have shared so many incredible memories over the years. 

Alexa graduated from PA school, Chris graduated from medical school and got accepted to his dream residency program to become an Anesthesiologist. Because of this, they have had to do long distance for about 3 years and can’t wait to finally live together in the same city! They celebrated his medical school graduation with a trip to Maui. They love being adventurous and can’t wait to travel the world together. They love to eat good food and try different restaurants, especially when traveling.

Chris proposed on the weekend of their 6 year anniversary, January 8th, 2022. Every year on their anniversary, they spend the weekend in Manhattan at one of their favorite hotels across the street from Bryant park. Bryant Park is special to them because of that.

They had plans to get dinner downtown, but before dinner, Chris had made a reservation to have drinks in one of the Bryant park Igloos. As they were walking up to the Igloo, Chris got down on one knee and proposed. She was stunned! The next day, her mom threw them a surprise engagement party when they got home with all of their closest family and friends.

Alexa said, “I was surprised in the best way and could not believe it! When I saw the ring, I was just in Awe. I had previously sent Chris photos of rings that I liked from The Clear Cut, but my ring was more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. Just stunning. I was in love with it immediately!” They plan to get married in the Fall of 2024 once Chris graduates from his residency program and moves back to New York. They plan to have a beautiful celebration surrounded by their closest friends and family.
