Clear Cut Couples: Andrea and Adam
Andrea and Adam met on Hinge! It did not take long after they started chatting for long, thoughtful messages, connecting over their shared love for family and food.
Their first date was on Abbot Kinney in Venice, California, and what was supposed to be a casual meet-up turned into a night of exploring, laughing, and even crashing a random birthday party. There was an instant connection. Something just felt easy and right. And the rest is history! They have been together ever since for over a year and a half.
Early on, Adam’s niece Hali became a regular on their FaceTime calls. She’d pop in constantly, always curious about what they were up to. Not long after they started dating, she asked Adam, completely seriously, “When are you going to ask Andrea to be your girlfriend?” The next day, he did.
Since they started dating, their relationship has been filled with nonstop adventures, endless weekend trips, vacations, and even a couple of cruises. Their lives have been pretty jam-packed with excitement and spontaneous getaways, whether it’s a relaxing resort vacation or a cozy cabin camping trip. They love spending weekends away together, and more often than not, their dog Vinny tags along for the fun too! Adam proposed after they got back from the most incredible weeklong Alaskan cruise. They explored so much of Alaska together—saw some of the most breathtaking scenery, took a helicopter to the top of a glacier, and even went dog sledding.
When they returned to Seattle, where the cruise had started and ended, Adam proposed that night at a beautiful overlook with a view of the entire city skyline. After she said yes, he surprised her even more by taking her to a restaurant around the corner, where both of their families were waiting to celebrate with them. It was such a special moment and safe to say, July 4th now has a whole new meaning to them!
It was a total surprise for Andrea! They have a European vacation planned for the end of the summer, and all signs were pointing to an engagement happening then, so Andrea truly didn’t see it coming. Adam completely caught her off guard in the best way.
They don’t have any official plans for the wedding just yet, but they will start looking into venues over the next few months. Right now, they’re just enjoying the excitement of being newly engaged and soaking it all in before jumping into wedding planning! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
