Clear Cut Couples: Chanel and Sheldon
Chanel and Sheldon met at First Saturday’s at the Brooklyn Museum. He was a friend of one of Chanel’s friends and she says it was lust at first sight!
Chanel and Sheldon have been together for over 5 years and for the past two years she has been a student at Columbia Business School.
Sheldon had grand plans of proposing to Chanel after her graduation on a romantic trip to Italy, but due to an unexpected basketball injury they had to postpone the trip. He was still determined to pop the question following her graduation and was certain she would never expect it.
Sheldon chose a gorgeous Radiant cut diamond set in a white gold ring with diamond pave details on the band.
He popped the question on May 19th on the rooftop of their apartment building, which has an incredible view of Central Park. Chanel was shocked and was not expecting the proposal! She says she wasn’t prepared at all and was just dressed in gym shorts and a t-shirt. She cried and of course said “Yes!”
Chanel and Sheldon plan on marrying in 2019 in Chanel’s hometown of Chicago!
