Clear Cut Couples: Chris and Tiffany
Chris and Tiffany met in the fall of 2015 in Newport Beach, CA at a local dive bar called Malarkey’s. After being harassed by some guy, Chris came to Tiffany’s rescue. Chris asked if he could buy Tiffany a drink and little did they know that those two shots of Fireball they shared would ignite a relationship that would last a lifetime.
Their first date involved two of Chris’s loves, Tiffany and fantasy football. Their planned Sunday date at the beach was interrupted by gloomy weather. Chris thought the next best romantic option would be to watch football with wings and beer at another Newport dive bar. Halfway through the plate of wings, it was evident to Chris that he wanted this relationship to last. So their first real date was dinner at a sushi restaurant called Buddha’s Favorite. Since then, they have been together for over five years!
Over the five years they have been together, Chris and Tiffany have traveled around the world from London, to Paris, to Ibizia. Most of their favorite memories have become traditions starting with Sycamore Mineral Springs when they fell in love with one another, to frequenting festivals like Coachella and Stagecoach with their friends, and of course the annual photo they take by the Fashion Island Christmas tree.
Chris proposed on 12/12/2020. Every year they take a photo in front of the Christmas tree at Fashion Island mall. They had plans for Chris’s birthday later that day and he told Tiffany that he wanted to take their annual Christmas tree photo that morning. Tiffany didn’t understand why they had to take the photo that morning when they were so busy getting ready for his birthday. She fussed the entire way! He proposed in front of the Christmas tree and all of their family and friends were there to see it happen.
It was a huge surprise! As you can see from the photos Tiffany’s face says it all. She said the ring is exactly what she wanted to the T!
They plan on getting married in September 2022. They’d like to get married in Newport Beach, CA since that is where they met and currently live together. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
