Clear Cut Couples: Emily and Juston

Five years ago, Juston took an Orangetheory class that Emily was coaching. That was the first time he saw her. She didn’t remember him in her class and their lives never crossed paths. 

Fast forward 3 years later, a mutual friend set them up on a blind date. All they both knew was the time and location for the date. The first date was at a speakeasy, where they were both so nervous that they couldn’t even eat at first. The conversation from there was easy. They immediately hit it off and their next date was many hours long…the rest is history! They have been together for over 2.5 years since!

They have shared countless incredible memories over the years. Their first trip was 2 months after they met, to Florida for Juston’s friend’s wedding. From then on traveling has been a huge part of their relationship. They have also been to Mexico, Guatemala, California, New York, and even local trips to their favorite spots on the Oregon coast.

Juston proposed on May 9th, 2025. The morning started with flowers and a scavenger hunt to all of the places that hold sentimental meaning to them. Each location came with a memory and a clue to the next location. It ended at a winery in the hills overlooking NW Portland where Juston asked Emily to marry him. After he proposed, he told her that they had 2 hours to pack because they had a flight to catch to Orange County to ring in the proposal.

It was such a surprise for Emily! She couldn’t believe how perfect it was. Down to the very last detail with the hidden halo and cathedral setting for her ring. She couldn’t stop staring at it!

As for their wedding, they are looking towards Bend, OR at Tetherow Resort with all of their family and friends. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
