Clear Cut Couples: Hannah and Jon
Hannah and Jon met on Hinge in Boston, where Hannah was a law student and Jon was working in venture capital. Hannah's dear friend and sister-in-law, Courtney, set her up on the app. Jon was Hannah's second Hinge date ever, and also her last!
Their first date took place at a neighborhood bar in the South End of Boston and Jon wanted to make sure Hannah saw some of the city. She hadn't done much exploring in Boston up to that point. After talking for three hours straight, neither person wanted the date to end, so they had a nightcap - and their first kiss - at another restaurant down the street. They have been together for over 2 years (anniversary is January 10th!)
They have shared so many incredible memories since then! Hannah and Jon's favorite trip was the trip they took to Provence and Paris, France after Hannah took the bar exam. They spent countless hours exploring Hannah's favorite city, eating delicious baguette and cheese, and drinking great wine. Another relationship highlight was moving into their dream apartment in Brooklyn Heights in the early Summer of 2020 and getting the world's cutest puppy - Essie - in November 2020. Hannah and Jon love exploring their neighborhood and taking Essie for long walks on the Brooklyn Heights promenade.
Jon popped the question on Valentines Day 2021. Hannah and Jon were away with Hannah's brother Mike and his girlfriend Courtney in upstate New York. Hannah had no idea Jon and Courtney were planning an epic proposal for the weekend. `Courtney tricked Hannah into getting dressed up to take Valentines Day photos outside the picturesque house where they were staying. When Hannah opened the front door to go outside, she found Jon standing on the front steps surrounded by candles and rose petals. Jon read Hannah a card he had written her and then got down on one knee to pop the question. The proposal was flawless and perfectly planned thanks to Courtney's proposal planning service Courtyd Co, and of course, Jon's hard work.
The proposal was a complete surprise because Hannah thought it was coming several weeks later on a trip she and Jon were taking for her birthday. Hannah is absolutely in love with her ring. Olivia worked closely with Jon to make sure Hannah's dream of a vintage-style, emerald cut ring came true. An additional, special surprise was Jon adding baguettes from Hannah's mom's jewelry inlaid into the ring band. As for their wedding plans, they are still being determined! Congrats you two!!
