Clear Cut Couples: Hannah and Ryan
Hannah and Ryan met in college, at Washington State, where they shared friends and lived in the same dorm hall during freshman year. Their friends introduced them early on but it wasn’t until the start of their sophomore year that they really spent time together and quickly became very important to each other. In true college student fashion, their first date was a sorority party… a ‘Date Dash’ as they called them. Hannah asked Ryan to come with her and, of course, they had a blast together.
They have been together for over 6 years and have shared countless incredible memories since then. They’ve grown up side by side and have experienced so much life together at a young age. After college, they began to build a life together in Scottsdale, Arizona. They even added a member to the family - their pup, Reese.
Ryan asked Hannah to be his girlfriend on one of the most memorable days of their college times. Their football team was a huge part of the school experience and they were hosting ESPN College Gameday on campus that weekend. It was the most special experience to be a part of and they had the best day cheering on their team. They spent time with Ryan’s family and their friends and as the day was ending, Ryan ‘officially’ asked Hannah to be his girlfriend.
Summers during college were always a bit of a bummer since Ryan was in Washington and Hannah was back home in California. Her 21st birthday was over the summer and they had a trip planned to celebrate the week after. Hannah thought he wouldn’t be able to be there on her birthday due to work, but he flew down and surprised her (with her favorite lunch & flowers in hand).
They’ve vacationed across the coast of California, to Hawaii, Nashville, Denver, Mexico & many more! Some of Hannah’s favorite memories are watching Ryan grow close to her family and friends.
Ryan proposed on November 8th, 2024 in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was a Friday evening & he mentioned that their friends wanted to go to a ‘Wine & Art Festival’ and then grab dinner. As they drove up to the area where the festival was being held, Ryan turned the car around and parked on the side of the road by a lake. After walking around the corner, they saw a beautiful set up that Ryan had handcrafted. He popped the question and proposed with Hannah;s dream ring. They enjoyed champagne and chatted about all that’s led up to this moment. They then got in the car and drove to “dinner.”
Instead of a restaurant, Ryan drove up to a stunning home where they were greeted by their families that traveled into town to celebrate. The proposal and the ring itself were a complete surprise. They had a call with Olivia much earlier in the year, but Ryan wanted to run with the process from there to keep it a surprise. She had no idea he ended up working with The Clear Cut to create her dream ring and had no idea that she was getting engaged that night!
As for their wedding, they don’t quite have plans yet. They’re thrilled to be soaking in all the bliss of the engagement that they’ve both looked forward to for so long. They can’t wait to start planning the wedding and to be able to celebrate with their closest friends and family. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
