Clear Cut Couples: Jess and Jolley

Jolley and Jessica meet at a Friendsgiving event Jessica hosted in DC in 2014. Jolley showed up uninvited with his friend Ronald, bragged about his barbecuing skills and the rest is history. Since then, they have been together for four years! 

Jolley planned an amazing surprise weekend over the 4th of July. He told Jessica they were taking a trip up to Connecticut to visit one of his co-workers. Jessica was a little annoyed because he kept changing up the plans and was being vague... but it was all worth it when they arrived. Jolley planned a romantic, relaxing stay at Winvian Farms in Connecticut. It was a destination they saw together on the travel channel years before and it was the perfect location for a proposal. On their second evening there, after a day of riding bikes and enjoying nature, Jolley proposed in the gardens and it was followed by a surprise dinner. 

The next day, when they all arrived back to New York, Jolley had friends and family from all over the country in town for part two of the surprise. Everyone watched the fireworks together that evening and enjoyed a surprise party.

Jessica says, “It was a huge surprise and the ring was perfect!” She was shocked because she had no clue if Jolley was paying attention at her hints of what she wanted in a ring. He did an amazing job and the ring was perfect, thanks to the help of The Clear Cut!

As for their wedding, they are are planning it in North Carolina in late summer of 2020. Congrats Jessica and Jolley! We are SO happy for you and can’t wait for wedding pics :)
