Clear Cut Couples: Kailey and Parker

Kailey and Parker met on campus at their Los Angeles university in 2013. On one serendipitous afternoon in September, Parker was dared by his buddies to walk into the first open dorm he came across and start hanging out with whomever was inside as if nothing was wrong at all. Sure enough, that random dorm was Kailey’s dorm, and Parker had just let himself inside. A lover of jokes and revelry herself, Kailey was charmed by the encounter and the two became fast friends, remaining close until well after graduation.

The pair began dating a couple years later, as various jobs and ambitions took them to San Francisco, New York City, San Diego, and a few spots in between. Over the past six years, Kailey and Parker have loved vacationing together in Mexico, taking ski trips to Utah, visiting family in California, and have enjoyed their fair share of spontaneous adventures (just ask about their journey to Hong Kong!) Earlier this year, Kailey and Parker were happy to land in Austin, Texas, where they are loving life alongside some good friends and their Golden Retriever pup, Summer.

Lake Tahoe in all its breathtaking beauty is a special place for Kailey and Parker, it has become a landmark woven with memories that the pair cherish dearly. They were blessed to spend another summer there, surrounded by family and friends. On a warm evening in early July, before sitting down for a lakeside dinner, Parker led Kailey on a walk to the shoreline. Lit by the golden hues of a Lake Tahoe sunset, he knelt down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. She said yes, of course! Kailey confesses that Parker's proposal was not entirely unexpected! She is a planner at heart, and found solace in her readiness and ability to prepare for this milestone moment. However, what truly was surprising were the thoughtful and intricate details that Parker had woven throughout the day, making every moment precious. Kailey's ring is a dream come true, absolutely perfect in every way.

No official date or venue has been booked yet, but they are hoping to get married next spring, and are looking forward to celebrating with loved ones! Cheers to Kailey and Parker's endless summer. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
