Clear Cut Couples: Kristen and Andrew

A mutual friend introduced Kristen and Andrew in September 2017 after realizing that the two were living in the same city and had a ton in common - from their personalities to their jobs at Amazon. For their first date, Andrew brought his puppy and unknowingly took Kristen to her favorite brewery, Lagunitas. From there, the rest is history. Since then, the two have been together for a year and a half and learned that there is truth to the saying: "when you know, you know!"

They got engaged in the town of Sintra during a trip to Portugal in September 2018. After exploring the Castle of the Moors and Pena Palace, Andrew brought Kristen to the palace gardens for what she thought was a snack break, but instead of a snack, Andrew pulled a ring box out of his bag and got down on one knee.

Kristen was shocked by everything: the proposal, their surroundings, the emerald cut diamond ring set in a simple yet stunning yellow gold and platinum solitaire setting. She loves it so much that she still spends the majority of the time in SoulCycle classes gawking at it. Andrew lost count of how many times she said yes and and then immediately one upped himself by taking her to a cafe where they could share their exciting news with their loved ones, show off her ring, and Kristen could get her favorite meal (pizza).

For their wedding, they just set their date at Napa Valley's Calistoga Ranch in April 2019. They can't wait to drink wine and celebrate their foray into married life with their closest family and friends. Congratulations you two!
