Clear Cut Couples: Luis and Melissa

Luis and Melissa met at Walgreens! For their first date, they went to Brass Tap for dinner and after they went out to a bar and the whole night was full of laughter!

They have been together for over 2.5 years since then and they have shared so many special memories since then. Their first trip to New York for Melissa’s uncle and aunt's 50th anniversary was a highlight.

They explored NYC together and Luis met her dad's side of the family. She taught him how to dance merengue at the anniversary party! Another highlight was when they visited each other's countries together with their families. She went to Costa Rica with his family and he went to Santiago, Dominican Republic and Puerto Plata with Melissa and her parents.

He proposed to her on her birthday February 1st, and he did it by blindfolding her and walking to a romantic dinner at the beach in Punta Cana, the path filled with candles and “Marry Me” lights and with a guitarist playing romantic music, a videographer capturing every moment.

Melissa was so surprised! Her reaction was long and speechless. She couldn't believe it!!

They plan to get married in her country, Dominican Republic. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
