Clear Cut Couples: Michael and Tatum

Michael and Tatum met on Hinge in 2021. He messaged her first, admiring a photo of her fishing in Mammoth Lakes, CA. They met for their first date, both immediately felt the spark, and the rest is history! Tatum and Michael only went on 4 dates before becoming official at his family’s avocado farm. Fast forward 3 years, and they’re now planning a wedding at that same avocado farm/wedding venue. 

They have shared countless incredible memories over the years, some of their favorites include their trips to Waikiki, Hawaii, Tulum, Mexico, and Vancouver, Canada. Tatum and Michael also started their own farmers market stand, where they sold fresh avocados and citrus fruits to their local community. The happy couple is also proud to be the parents of their 1-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Hapa!

Michael tricked Tatum into thinking they were visiting his family in Oahu, Hawaii, and ended up surprising her with a trip to the Four Seasons Sensei Lanai Resort, where he got down on one knee with his custom Clear Cut ring. Tatum absolutely loves her natural diamond oval solitaire ring! They said, “Thank you for helping us create such special memories—we could not be happier!!” It was a total surprise! Tatum was over-the-moon with the proposal and the ring! Michael had secretly flown to New York (saying he was going to meet up with his friends) to design the ring with The Clear Cut team and Tatum had no idea!

Tatum and Michael plan to get married in 2025 at Michael’s family avocado farm/wedding venue! It is very full circle for them, as this is where they became official, where they lived for a short bit, and where they have created such meaningful memories as a couple!
