Clear Cut Couples: Natalie and Tom

Natalie and Tom met when they were both freshmen at UConn, in their dorm’s laundry room. Super romantic! They got to know each other well in a class called “Designing Great Spaces,” where they studied famous parks. They were friends for about a year and a half before their first date on Valentine’s Day 2014. They have been together ever since! About 5.5 years!!

Since their “Designing Great Spaces” days, they love exploring parks together and Paley Park was always one of their favorites. After Nat’s birthday lunch at Gramercy Tavern, Tom surprised her with a trip to the park and got down on one knee! Her asked her to marry him — she said YES!!

Natalie had a feeling it was coming soon, especially after Tom shared that he had met Olivia from The Clear Cut (Nat is a huge fan!). But when the day came, Tom seemed calm, cool, and collected so Natalie didn’t expect it at that moment. But once he got down on one knee, Natalie was speechless! The ring was right out of her dreams and she constantly receives compliments on it.

They are getting married next September, at Water’s Edge Resort in CT! Hopefully Jonathan the Husky, the UConn mascot, will RSVP Yes! Congrats Natalie and Tom!! We are so thrilled for you!!
