Clear Cut Couples: Perry and Adam

Adam and Perry first met through friends when they were students at NYU. Perry’s friend was dying to set them up! After Perry and Adam’s first date in 2011, the relationship actually didn’t go anywhere. According to Perry, the timing just wasn’t quite right. However, two years later while Perry was out for a "run," she bumped into Adam heading into the subway. That coincidental meeting initiated them talking again and eventually dating. Perry joked, "I think its hilarious that if it wasn't for my fake run, we might not have gotten back together! If I walked, I might have missed him!"

Adam and Perry have since been together for almost 4 years and live together in NYC!

When the time came, I was super excited to help Adam design the perfect ring for Perry. He chose an exceptional elongated cushion cut diamond. What makes the diamond so special is that it is what I like to call a “cuoval,” a kind of cushion-oval hybrid! We set the stone in a super delicate handmade platinum pave ring.

Adam popped the question in October. He told Perry to keep her evening open and that he would be sending a car to pick her up at their apartment at 5pm. Perry had no idea where she was going, but as she got closer she realized she was heading to The Mark Hotel. When she got to the room there were roses spread all over the floor leading to Adam! He arranged a bunch vases filled with roses and heart shaped boxes of chocolates. She was completely surprised and of course said "YES!"
