Karen started her small business as a result of the the mask scarcity during the pandemic. Karen's style and entrepreneurship qualities were apparent during the launch of Second Wind. She creates signature fashionista face masks, hats and now jewelry. She started her journey in retail at 14 years old and went to fashion school shortly after. As one of triplets, Karen was inspired by her mom and sisters to pursue entrepreneurship.

Karen’s entrepreneurial journey has definitely been challenging, however, it was a rewarding experience. Karen fondly remembers her decision to become an entrepreneur, make an impact within the global community, and meet AOC!! Karen’s small business took off and she started receiving orders from celebrities such as Becky G, JLo, and more!
