We welcome Avery and Jolie to spill their bachelorette party-planning expertise. The pair comes together to create BachBoss, providing luxury planning services for bachelorette parties, 30th birthdays, 40th birthdays, any group travel excursions. Having met through a mutual best friend, they were both co-maid of honors in their friend's wedding. Each of them recognized their creative and organized nature and from that realization sparked the idea to create their own business in 2022. With the perfect timing to take the chance, the girls created BachBoss! Having been involved in numerous celebrations for others, Jolie is also a Clear Cut bride and we congratulate her on her marriage!
What was it like for them to navigate that first client?
Once the two got their start with the brand, they hosted a launch party, putting their presence officially out into the world. Someone had came up to them and wanted their services for an upcoming trip. . . happening in 2 weeks. To their advantage, the first client's experience went very well as it served a catalyst for many more clients to come their way! From all the inquiries and referrals, BachBoss has come to earn the attention of well-known celebrities and influencers, soon the two came be constantly involved with the luxurious travel-plans for bride-to-be celebrity names!
What does the BachBoss planning process look like? How do the two handle all the factors in hosting a bachelorette experience?
First things are first, for bachelorette parties especially, the budget must be set in place. It is important to remember that this is before the wedding happens and guests will probably be spending additional money on anything from a new outfit and gifts to a whole flight and stay when attending the actual wedding. If the bachelorette party does not have a set, standard budget, many people will not have the means to meet the out-of-pocket requirement. Once this is decided, the BachBoss team collaborates on their level of involvement and take charge of all the planning so you can truly enjoy your special occasions!
With so many successful trips, which travel destinations are the most popular?
The pair has noticed Nashville is the number one bachelorette party destination. It's fun, it's lively and will always host a good time for a girls' trip. They consider Miami as another hot-spot. Cabo San Lucas and Las Vegas are both crowd pleasers and will always be a popular bachelorette choice. Even with other occasions like celebrating a 30th or 40th birthday, many trips to Tulum, Mykonos, Ibiza and Scottsdale have all been dream destinations for their clients.
We saw BachBoss plan Olivia Culpo's bachelorette party, we're so curious to know what that was like!
With celebrity clients, the planning process has a little more pressure because there will be lots more attention on it. It's also their chance to let the star relax and not handle anything which is nice because celebrities will always have a busy schedule no matter the day. For Olivia's party, the group jet-setted to Cabo and made the flight a beautiful experience filled with balloons and welcome-bags for the guests, also some beautiful male models were on board to bartend for take-off!
For these destination trips, themes are super fun and very helpful with packing. They've hosted with themes like all-black attire, including a yoga or spa day. The theme typically fits the bride and her bride party. Lots more wellness-inspired trips are happening as they are a much more relaxing, pampering moment.
The BachBoss girls get all types of requests and detailed must-haves, we had to ask a few quick-fire questions for these popular bachelorette topics with a game of 'In or Out':
Strip club? If it's tasteful, in. But if it's tacky, out.
Matching outfits? Out, but coordinated outfits are in, it's not on-trend anymore to be matchy-matchy. Put your own spin on the attire.
Crown and sash for the bride-to-be? Out.
Mandatory invite for the future sister-in-law? If the two get along, then go for it. If there is drama between them, it's totally okay to not send her an invite. But it does set the tone for the future!
Destination bachelorette? IN!
Paying for the bride? It's 50/50, the bride should be paying for some expenses of her own but it's nice to get her drinks or dinner covered.
Bachelorette party for a second marriage? In, celebrate love every time!
Underrated destination? West Palm Beach, FL or La Jolla, CA.
