A GIA certificate is a certificate from the Gemological Institute of America- the industry's foremost authority in diamond grading and identification. Why do we only work with GIA-certified diamonds? Because they have the strictest standards.

 

GIA started the 4C’s: cut, carat, color, and clarity which determines the value of each stone and their categorization. Watch the video to learn more about the information that’s generally on the GIA certification slip!

 

If you want to get your diamond certified, you would have to unset your diamond and send it to GIA to get it certified.
