Clear Cut Couples: Aviva and Mason

Aviva and Mason met in high school and were best friends since 2008, but they did not start dating until shortly after they started college! Their exact first date is unclear since they were already best friends and spent a ton of time together. One thing led to another and soon their friendship turned into something more and since then, they have been together for over 7 years.

They have shared countless memories and adventures together and they cannot wait for more. They lived together in LA one summer and it was incredible. It was the first time they were living together and it was so much fun, they learned so much in the process, and grew as a couple. Though they have traveled all over together, Maui still remains their favorite place to be.

Mason proposed in Carmel, CA on the beach, right before sunset. They were walking on the beach and when Aviva turned around from putting her feet in the water... Mason was on one knee!! It was so surreal and romantic, Aviva was shaking!! Mason had hired a photographer who was hiding in the cliffs taking pictures the entire time. It was absolutely perfect! Then they went to their favorite restaurant, where they celebrate birthdays, anniversaries… it is their go-to when on vacation! When they arrived at the restaurant, there was a huge bouquet of red roses that towered over the table and a bottle of champagne.

It was a moment that they will remember forever. Aviva knew the proposal was going to happen on that trip, but she didn't know when or how! Amazingly, it was exactly what she wanted and even more.

For their wedding plans, they aren't quite sure yet. They want it to be outdoors and somewhere in California or Hawaii. Congrats Aviva and Mason -- we are SO happy for you!
