Clear Cut Couples: Billy and Kierstyn

Billy and Kierstyn grew up together in the same small town on the east coast of Canada. They went to the same schools growing up and always knew of one another. After Billy graduated from his Master’s degree, they connected on Instagram and went on their first date and have been together ever since! On their first date, they went to a beautiful restaurant on the water in their hometown, they had dinner and drinks and talked the night away!

They love to travel so some of their favorite memories are from trips they have been on together! A more recent memory would be their trip to Hawaii a year ago as it was a bucket list place to visit for us. It was the very first time they did a photo shoot together as a couple and it was so special.

Their first trip after Kierstyn graduated dental hygiene school was to Colombia, their first time to South America and embracing a completely different culture. They loved learning a new language and embracing a totally different culture together. 

On July 31 2022 Billy proposed to Kierstyn on the balcony of their hotel facing the ocean on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Just between the two they shared that special moment and Kierstyn was so surprised she blacked out in the moment and still cannot remember what he said! He coordinated a photo shoot for engagement pictures an hour later during sunset. After the photo shoot they had our very first Michelin Star restaurant experience, when they arrived Billy surprised her with roses and champagne on the table, just as she thought the surprises were over for the day!

Even though they had the experience of trying rings on together at The Clear Cut, Kierstyn was still so surprised it happened on their Italy trip! She was expecting maybe the following year. The ring is everything she dreamed of and more!

They will be getting married in October 2023 in Italy! Kierstyn has always imagined having her wedding there and now getting engaged in Italy makes it even more special. They will be inviting their closest family and friends to join us on the special day. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
