Clear Cut Couples: Ken and Camila

Ken and Camila met at a bar in college! Camila said, “he wasn’t my type but then he was such a gentleman to ask me to dance that we ended up talking the entire night and I accepted his invite to a first date a week later!”

Ken took her to a wine bar and he pretended to know a lot about wine, when really neither one of them had any clue and they were both so nervous, but the conversation flowed so easily that Camila knew that she was going to have the best time with him. They have been together for over 3 years since then!

They have shared so many incredible memories over the years! Getting their first dog together, Rue, is one of the biggest milestones! They both agree life wouldn’t be the same without her! Moving in together was a huge moment in their relationship too. They said, “it has been like living with your best friend, so MUCH FUN!”

Ken took Camila to the botanical gardens in San Antonio for the proposal. She noted that his plans weren’t going perfectly during the day (there were a lot of changes in times) but he brought her under this beautiful green arch and dropped down on one knee. She was the happiest girl ever!

The proposal wasn’t a surprise, Ken was so excited that he had been telling Camila hints for the 3 months prior to the proposal. The ring, on the other hand, was a HUGE surprise!! Camila had no idea what he was going to get. She said, “but it’s more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Ken thought that having my parents there was going to be the only surprise, but my mom totally forgot to turn her location off so I knew she was in San Antonio the entire weekend, so funny!” They are going to get married in a year in San Miguel De Allende, MX! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
