The Clear Cut Couples: Liz and Brett
Liz and Brett met at MIT - (ironic since neither of them are techies!) Liz was working for MIT's magazine Technology Review and was responsible for organizing their annual conference. Brett attended the conference and the rest is history. It was an instant connection and a perfect match. Since then, the two have been together for 9 years! They can hardly believe it.
The day Brett proposed ended up being a really gray and rainy day which wasn't a part of his master plan. The rain finally broke and the two took a bike ride to a park right on the coast. While sitting on a jetty overlooking the ocean he popped the question! The proposal was low key and private - it was perfect!
Liz said she suspected the proposal was coming, but was surprised nonetheless. She LOVES her radiant halo ring.
They are having a winter wedding on January 5th at the Mount Washington Hotel in northern New Hampshire! The weekend will be filled with family and close friends and hopefully some skiing. Congratulations you two. We cannot wait to hear about the wedding!
