Clear Cut Couples: Monika and Mani

Monika and Mani met while Mani was on a trip to Denmark which is where Monika lived at the time.

Their first date was at The Union Kitchen in Copenhagen and they knew that this was it from that day forward.

They have shared countless incredible memories since then! Some highlights were Monika’s first time in California was to come visit Mani where she got to explore parts of the US she always dreamt of. The two recently had a very special trip to Sweden where they got to explore new places together. Being from California, it was cold for Mani but well worth it.

Mani proposed on November 16, 2022 at Tivoli (Disneyland of Denmark) in Copenhagen. There is a restaurant there called Sticks & Sushi which is on top of the Tivoli Hotel that overlooks the whole city. The restaurant has an outdoor rooftop terrace and that was the spot where he proposed.

It was a big surprise and she absolutely LOVES the ring. She could not wait to FaceTime her family and friends! They are planning to get married in Athens, Greece in 2023. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
