Clear Cut Couples: T'Ann and Tyler

T’Ann had just moved to Nashville and met Tyler at the gym! He approached her asking if she was using a machine. She clearly wasn’t using the machine, but she saw how cute he was, so she was trying to get him to notice her - in the end, it worked!  

For their first date, he took her to a restaurant to grab a drink but the main reason was to play ping pong. T’Ann is super competitive as is Tyler, but she was talking a lot of game before their first date. The restaurant had a ping pong table and she was convinced that she could beat him. Turns out, he's really good at ping pong because he beat her! By the end of the date, he had asked her on a second date the very next day and they have spent almost everyday together ever since! They have been together for over two years and have shared so many incredible memories. 

Most importantly, they are truly best friends! Their relationship has been full of so many travels and adventures from hiking the Grand Tetons to Snowboarding in Lake Tahoe. They have been to 18 states in the 2 years that they have been together. They really value special moments like those together.

Tyler proposed on April 23rd, 2021 at Clearwater Beach Florida. They had planned a trip to the beach for her birthday and little did she know it would be the best trip of their lives. He took her to the most amazing restaurant on their first day there called Island Way Grill for dinner, followed by a walk on the beach. They walked up to a whole set up that he had planned with candles, rose petals and champagne. They were able to spend the rest of their beach trip celebrating this exciting chapter.

She was surprised for sure! They had discussed marriage so that part wasn't surprising, but she said, “The way he did everything was a dream come true. As soon as he got down on one knee I was in such shock that he was proposing and that he pulled out my gorgeous ring that all I could respond with was "shut up!” The elongated cushion with a gold skinny band was what I have always dreamed of. He did AMAZING!”

They are hoping for a Tulum, Mexico wedding in 2022. Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
