Clear Cut Couples: Tyler and Christina

Tyler and Christina met through a mutual friend at Tyler's birthday dinner in 2018. Christina's college friend and roommate is family friends with Tyler's family, and Christina had been invited to tag along!

For their first date, Christina was in the area where Tyler worked, near where she grew up and asked him if he wanted to get dinner. They proceeded to run into multiple people Christina knew, families she used to babysit for, old roommates and other friends.

They met in February of 2018, went on their first date in March of 2018. Tyler asked Christina to be his girlfriend on a trip to Savannah in June of 2018 and he proposed on July 4, 2021!

They have shared so many incredible memories over the years! They love to travel together, from Savannah, Outer Banks, Maine, Paris, New Orleans, Chicago, New York and they love Disney! A big highlight was when they bought their first home together in June 2020 and brought home our first fur baby, Lilly, in November of 2020.

Tyler proposed on July 4, 2021 on the beach in Corolla. They were on vacation with Christina's family and their two dogs, walking all 3 dogs on the beach. Tyler asked Christina's dad to hold Lilly and got down on one knee! Christina was totally surprised! Tyler had been playing it off that he hadn't made any plans to propose, and Christina thought the ring was stunning (and thrilled it was from The Clear Cut!)

They plan on getting married on their 5 year anniversary, June 16, 2023, in the Outer Banks! Congrats you two! We are SO happy for you!
